Our anti-bias self-learning tool <\/strong>has been updated. In particular, the examples have been expanded to allow users to practice realistic situations from everyday university life<\/strong> (e.g., exams, academic conferences) as part of the course. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-heading>\n\n\n\n

(Unconscious) preconceptions and stereotypes influence all of our perceptions, decision-making and actions \u2013 in a positive or negative way. They can also be a source of errors of judgment and disadvantages. An awareness of one’s own (unconscious) assumptions<\/strong> can help to minimize their negative effects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such awareness can be created or expanded through sensitization. Our anti-bias self-learning tool<\/a> for JGU members can provide an initial introduction as an online course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
