In order to support women in academia, individual coaching is offered to doctoral candidates nearing completion, postdocs, habilitation candidates, and female junior professors. These sessions aim to improve career planning and execution. Specifically, the coaching focuses on helping women navigate their academic paths, from doctoral studies through to junior faculty position <\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-heading>\n\n\n\n

The offer consists of a cost subsidy for individual coaching sessions with an experienced external coach of your choice amounting to a maximum of 1000 euros per funded person. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-heading>\n\n\n\n

Female doctoral candidates <\/strong>who are about to complete their doctorate<\/strong> or female researchers who are in the postdoc or habilitation phase<\/strong>, f<\/strong>emale junior professors, to further promote their academic career <\/strong>or female artists <\/strong>who plan a career in academia.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-heading>\n\n\n\n

Applications must be submitted informally to the Equality and Diversity Office by November 30, 2025<\/strong> at the latest and should include the following documents<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Letter of motivation with details of your academic career to date and further objectives. It should describe how the coaching offer can support the achievement of your goals (approx. 1-2 pages) <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Curriculum vitae in tabular form<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Copy of the degree certificate or doctoral certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • If applicable, list of publications, stays abroad, prizes\/grants, proof of teaching experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    We would like to draw your attention to the fact that multilingual coaching can also be funded, i.e. you can commission coaching in any language that suits you as part of the cost subsidy. The application procedure is as described above. Simply refer to this in your cover letter if you wish to use the cost subsidy for multilingual individual coaching sessions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
