An open and positive error culture supports diversity-oriented teaching and promotes the potential of diversity. This applies to both performance and learning situations. Support your students in developing a constructive approach to mistakes – both in interaction and in dealing with their own mistakes. The way you deal with your mistakes and the mistakes of your students contributes significantly to creating an atmosphere in which mistakes are not primarily judged as flaws or deficits. By offering a differentiated error analysis, you enable your students to see errors as a learning opportunity, to consciously deal with errors and to avoid them in the future. Depending on the context, this error analysis and search for solutions can also take place in a group.
