We would like to invite you to participate in the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency’s major survey on discrimination in Germany. Participation is anonymous, accessible, and available in many forms and languages.

From November 12, 2025 to February 28, 2026, the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency is conducting the largest survey on discrimination in Germany to date. The aim is to publish a detailed study in 2027, containing contemporary data on how people in Germany experience discrimination and how they deal with it. Based on this study, claims on how protection against discrimination can be improved will be drawn up.

The survey covers discrimination in all areas of life and takes into account all reasons of discrimination. Almost 400 citizens participated in the creation of the questionnaire to ensure that it reflects the experiences of their communities.

Anyone aged 14 or older who has experienced discrimination can take part in the survey. Participation is anonymous, accessible and available in many languages and formats inlcuding online, via chatbot, on paper, in simple language, in several foreign languages and also in German sign language.

In order to attract as many participants as possible, the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency calls for a wide advertisement for the survey and provides printed flyers, postcards and posters as well as digital materials to use in newsletters or on social media.
